Privacy policy
MyMeter — Online Metering Data Collection Platform. This page summarizes what we process and why; the authoritative records live in the platform documentation (Art. 30 record of processing activities).
What we process
- Account data (name, email, password hash or Google sign-in identity): to authenticate you. Legal basis: contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Tenant memberships and roles: to control what you can access. Legal basis: contract.
- Metering data (meter identifiers, consumption/saldo time series): processed on behalf of the tenant (organization) that operates the meters — the tenant is the controller of this data, MyMeter acts as processor.
Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies (session and CSRF protection) — no tracking, no analytics, no third-party cookies. Strictly necessary cookies require no consent banner under the ePrivacy rules.
Your rights
Signed-in users can export their personal data as JSON and delete their account (including all sign-in identities and memberships) under Settings → Privacy & your data. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
Retention
Personal account data is kept while the account exists. Metering time-series data is retained according to the operating tenant's configuration; see the platform's retention policy documentation.
Security
Transport encryption (TLS), hashed credentials and API tokens, per-tenant data isolation enforced server-side, and least-privilege access controls. Details: security documentation in the repository.
